Announcement to all event ticketholders:
On the evening of March 21, 2012, the YWCA of Spokane received word that Queen Latifah is dealing with a serious family medical emergency and will unfortunately need to cancel her event here in Spokane.
As saddened as we are to have to cancel this incredible event at the last minute, we hope you’ll join us in extending our hearts to Queen Latifah and her family in this difficult time.
We owe a massive amount of thanks to all of the YWCA’s supporters throughout the lead-up to this event, including sponsors, all the volunteers, and the individual ticketholders. It pains us to disappoint you and all the people who would have been with us tonight for “A Night of Triumph”.
All ticketholders can get their tickets refunded. Anyone who purchased tickets online or over the phones will get an automatic refund with the original card used for the purchase. If tickets were purchased at an outlet or at the box office, the tickets will be refunded through the box office at 720 W. Mallon, Spokane. Call TicketsWest at 800-325-SEAT(7328) with any questions.
For those of you who still wish to contribute to supporting the critical programs of the YWCA—programs that support women in crisis and women working to become self-sufficient—you still have the opportunity to do so.
Below you will find a link to give a gift to the YWCA. Feel free to give what you would have paid for the ticket or any other amount you feel comfortable with.
We are going to continue on with our “Let Your Crown Shine” event for YWCA clients. They will still have a wonderful afternoon of pampering that they so deserve.
Thank you to all the supporters of the YWCA for your generosity and understanding after this unfortunate turn of events.
